(Brenda Moore, Phyllis Johnson) all in favor Presentations: Marci Rayl, Innovage PACE Program (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) est.1971 Keeping seniors in their homes; helps with low income seniors thru Medical/Medicare No out of pocket for the seniors, create a care plan for each individual IHSS or PACE- cannot have both PACE- by task with senior, not by allotted hours Also, helps with transition to assisted living and pays the difference from what the seniors can pay Susan MacFarlane & Jessica Ruiz, O’Connor Woods (Campus, Services & Memory Care Presentation) A day away care 9am-4pm; meals, snacks included (Partners with Eskaton) 45 acres; 62 years end of life; Parkinson’s/ Dementia/ Alzheimer’s Cash Based A. Would like to partner with COA Public Comment: Betty with Senior Club Club has been disbanded, COA took over Bingo Donating $9,777.25 Check plus $66 Cash Commissioners’ Reports: Chair L. Robbins: Senior guide updating/ use regular paper –bringing to May meeting Commissioner P. Johnson: Does not want suggestions to go to GSRC – they should go to COA members Commissioner D. McCall: Working on pamphlets, computers getting updated Commissioner B. Moore: N/A Commissioner J. Werblun: Senior housing/ met with Mr. Hume & CM & S.
