CITY OF GALT GALT YOUTH COMMISSION MEETING AGENDA CITY HALL COMMUNITY ROOM, 380 CIVIC DRIVE GALT, CALIFORNIA MONDAY, MARCH 4, 2019, 6:00 PM Mission Statement - Encourage the youth to participate in activities that are purposeful in building better citizens. - Stimulate community service in Galt - Encourage family participation in building civic unity. - Strive to emphasize the diversity in our culture by encouraging interaction within the community. - Collaborate with organizations devoted to the growth of youth - Recognize that it takes all members of the community to sustain change for the betterment of our youth and families. City Council Update Information Item Councilmember Lampson will present this month’s city council update. 4. Galt Youth Commission Scholarship Information Item Adult Mentor Flores will provide an update. 5. GYC Recruitment Information Item Subcommittee will report out on the timelines for application period and next steps. 6. GYC Team Building Information Item Commissioner Cuevas will provide a status update. 7.
