A. CALL MEETING TO ORDER/FLAG SALUTE
Chair Cuevas Murillo called the meeting to order at 6:00pm.
B. ROLL CALL: Youth Commissioners: Akers, Caron, Cuevas Murillo, Cullers, Enriquez, Gold, Kaur,
Ramirez, Sosa
Mentors: Harris, Hill J, Hill M, Klotz, Lampson, Mayor Farmer
Absent: Enriquez, Klotz, and Mayor Farmer
C. PUBLIC COMMENT - Under Government Code Section 54954.3, members of the public may address
the commission on any item of interest to the public. Speakers may address commission on any agenda
item during consideration of the item. Please come to the podium and limit your comments to three (3)
minutes.
D. PRESENTATIONS: Lorenzo Hines, Jr., City Manager - Tabled
E. REGULAR BUSINESS:
1. Icebreaker Information Item
Welcomed all 6 new members.
2. Approval of minutes for the meeting of April 4, 2022 Action Item
Motion passed 8-0. Motioned by Commissioner Gold and seconded by Commissioner Sosa.
3. Fundraising Information Item
A-Z Foundation donated $1000. Graditute and thank you letters were given.
4. Youth Commission Social Media postings Information Item
No update from Damaris.
5. Budget Report Information Item
Commissioner Enriquez reported no update.
6. Adopt a Street- city clean up _____________ Discussion Item
May 21 next clean up and decided that commission will help during the summer.

7. Retreat update Discussion Item
Retreat will take place at Big Trees on June 27th.
8. Alexis Gold liaison to council Discussion Item
Commissioner Gold missed previous meeting but will make it to the next.
10. Ice Cream Social Discussion Item
Scratched.
11. City Council update __ Discussion Item
Mayor Farmer-Coffee Shop meet up on May 19th, 7-8pm.
