COMMENTS BY COMMITTEE MEMBERS:
1. Vice Chair Schamber spoke of concerns regarding the area located between
the southbound Highway 99 Twin Cities Road “off” ramp and the southbound
Highway 99 “on” ramp – north of Twin Cities Road. There is a very deep
drainage ditch located between the two freeway ramps and presents a hazard
to drivers if they exit the freeway too fast. Vice Chair Schamber would like
Public Works to notify Cal-Trans of this hazard.
2. Vice Mayor P. Sandhu mentioned there has been a lot of public concern
regarding the Dry Creek subdivision area and possible road closures at Cornell
Road and Ranch Road.
3. Chief Kalinowski stated the committee members, if interested may sign up for
Police Ride-Alongs and may also participate in the National Night Out which is
scheduled for Tuesday, August 5th.
ADJOURNMENT:
With no further business, Vice Chair Schamber adjourned the meeting at 6:42 pm.
