MINUTES
SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
City Council Chambers, 380 Civic Drive, Galt, California
Thursday, March 21, 2019, 4:30 pm
The Mayor called the meeting to order at 4:30 pm. Council Members present: Farmer, Sandhu, Lozano
and Palazzo. Absent: Campion
Staff members present: City Manager Palazzo, City Clerk Settles and Interim City Attorney Hood.
PUBLIC COMMENTS: The City Clerk announced that members of the public could address the City
Council on non-agenda items. She stated no discussion or action could be taken on any item that was not
listed on the agenda. The Clerk advised the location of the speaker cards, asked that speaker cards be
presented to the Clerk prior to addressing City Council and that each person would have a five-minute time
limit to speak. She said those who wished to speak on any item scheduled on the agenda would be given an
opportunity to do so at the time that item was being considered.
ADJOURNED TO SPECIAL CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION:
1. Public Employment pursuant to Government Code section 54957.
Title: Interim City Manager
RECONVENED TO OPEN SESSION: The City Council reconvened to open session at 6:50 pm at which
time the Interim City Attorney announced there was no reportable action.
There being no further business to come before council, the Mayor adjourned the meeting at 6:50 pm.

Roll Call: Farmer, Sandhu, Campion, Lozano, Lampson
B. PUBLIC COMMENT: - Under Government Code Section 54954.3, members of the public may address
the council on non-agenda items. Speakers may address City Council on any agenda item during
consideration of the item. Speakers shall restrict their comments to issues that are within the subject matter
jurisdiction of the City Council and limit comments to a maximum of five minutes. Please fill out a speaker
sheet and forward the completed speaker sheet to the Clerk.
