BOARD OF TRUSTEES MARCH 10, 2022 A special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Garden City in the County of Nassau, New York, was held via Zoom video/audio (with Trustees, Department Heads and audience present) at the Village Hall, 351 Stewart Avenue in said Village on March 10, 2022, at 7:30 p.m. Present: Mayor Cosmo Veneziale, Trustees Bruce J. Chester (via Zoom), John M. Delany, Terence P. Digan, Mary Carter Flanagan, Colleen E. Foley and Thomas J. O’Brien. Also Present: Ralph V. Suozzi, Village Administrator Karen M. Altman, Village Clerk Irene Woo, Village Treasurer Giuseppe Giovanniello, Superintendent of Building Department Paul Blake, Chairman, Board of Commissioners of Cultural and Recreational Affairs Absent: Trustee Louis M. Minuto Attendance: Approximately 10 in person and 10 (via Zoom) The Clerk reported that due notice of this meeting had been served on each member of the Board. Mayor Veneziale called the meeting to order and stated that the purpose of the meeting was to conduct a work session for the proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2022/2023. Village Treasurer Irene Woo gave an overview of the budget process, current year forecast and a tentative budget overview. She then introduced Building Superintendent Giuseppe Giovanniello who presented the Building Department Budget for 2022/2023 and Paul Blake, Chairman, Board of Commissioners of Cultural and Recreational Affairs presented the budget for the Recreation and Parks Department as well as for the Pool and Tennis Enterprise Funds. There being no further business, on motion duly made, the meeting adjourned at 8:55 p.m.
