COUNCIL CAUCUS MEETING MINUTES CITY OF GARFIELD HEIGHTS, OHIO Monday, November 25, 2019 Council President Matt Burke called the Caucus Meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Members Present: Jason Blake, Councilman Ward 5 Matt Burke, Councilman Ward 6 Shayla Davis, Councilwoman Ward 4 Charles Donahue, Councilman Ward 2 Michael Dudley, Sr., Councilman Ward 1 Michael Nenadovich, Councilman Ward 3 Tom Vaughn, Councilman Ward 7 Clmn Nenadovich moved to accept the Minutes of the Caucus Meeting for Tuesday, November 12, 2019 as written. The Minutes stood approved by 6 Yes (Nenadovich, Davis, Blake, Burke, Dudley, Donahue) and 1 Absent (Vaughn) votes. Clmn Nenadovich would dispose of the Minutes of the Regular Council Meeting of November 12, 2019. Clmn Vaughn would offer the invocation and lead the Pledge of Allegiance. Clmn Nenadovich had prepared Guidelines for Conducting a Meeting and distributed them. ORDINANCE NO. 57-2019 Clmn Nenadovich advised that he would move to consider by title. ORDINANCE NO. 58-2019 Clmn Vaughn advised that he would move to consider by title. ORDINANCE NO. 59-2019 Clmn Blake advised that he would move to consider by title. ORDINANCE NO. 60-2019 Clmn Dudley advised that he would move to consider by title. ORDINANCE NO. 61-2019 Clmn Vaughn advised that he would move to consider by title. ORDINANCE NO. 62-2019 Clmn Nenadovich advised that he would move to consider by title. There were no written communications to Council. There were no Committee Reports. Clmn Vaughn offered to prepare an ordinance to change two 2020 Council Meeting dates because the Civic Center would be closed on Columbus Day and Memorial Day in 2020. Clmn Dudley voiced his opinion about the School Liaison position. Clmn Vaughn announced Finance Committee Meetings for December 4 and 5, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. Law Director Riley suggested that Council move to cancel the December 23rd Council Meeting during the next Regular Meeting. Clmn Dudley asked to be removed from the Recreation Committee in order to join the Safety Committee and the Chairman agreed. Clmn Nenadovich moved to adjourn the Caucus Meeting, Clmn Dudley seconded and the motion was approved unanimously.
