COUNCIL CAUCUS MEETING MINUTES CITY OF GARFIELD HEIGHTS, OHIO Monday, January 27, 2020 Council President Matt Burke called the Caucus Meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Members Present: Jason Blake, Councilman Ward 5 Matt Burke, Councilman Ward 6 Shayla Davis, Councilwoman Ward 4 Charles Donahue, Councilman Ward 2 Michael Dudley, Sr., Councilman Ward 1 Michael Nenadovich, Councilman Ward 3 Tom Vaughn, Councilman Ward 7 Clmn Blake would offer the invocation and lead the Pledge of Allegiance. Clmn Nenadovich moved to accept the Minutes of the Caucus Meeting for Monday, January 13, 2020 as written. The Minutes stood approved unanimously. Clmn Nenadovich would dispose of the Minutes of the Regular Council Meeting of January 13, 2020. There were no written communications to Council. Clmn Nenadovich planned to give a Legislative Committee Report. He announced that the Neighborhood News had agreed to allot him free space in each issue to print an Ordinance. The Chair mentioned that Clwn Davis would hold a Communication and Technology Committee Meeting on Tuesday, February 4, 2020. ORDINANCE NO. 06-2020 Clmn Vaughn advised that he would move to consider by title. ORDINANCE NO. 07-2020 Clmn Nenadovich advised that he would move to consider by title. ORDINANCE NO. 08-2020 Clmn Vaughn advised that he would move to consider by title. ORDINANCE NO. 09-2020 Clmn Dudley advised that he would move to consider by title. ORDINANCE NO. 10-2020 Clmn Vaughn advised that he would move to consider by title and move to have two Readings. RESOLUTION NO. 02-2020 Clmn Blake advised that he would move to consider by title. RESOLUTION NO. 03-2020 Clmn Donahue advised that he would move to consider by title. Clmn Dudley commented that Ms. Pat Salemi would soon email a request to Department heads asking them or their staff to participate in a basketball game against the Garfield Heights High School Varsity Basketball team. He asked Council’s permission to have the email come from Council and Council consented. Clmn Nenadovich moved to adjourn the Caucus Meeting and his motion was approved unanimously.
