COUNCIL CAUCUS MEETING MINUTES CITY OF GARFIELD HEIGHTS, OHIO Monday, June 22, 2020 (Note: This meeting was conducted by teleconference due to the current Covid-19 outbreak.) Council President Pro Tem Michael Nenadovich called the Caucus Meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Members Present: Jason Blake, Councilman Ward 5 Shayla Davis, Councilwoman Ward 4 Charles Donahue, Councilman Ward 2 Michael Dudley, Sr., Councilman Ward 1 Michael Nenadovich, Councilman Ward 3 Tom Vaughn, Councilman Ward 7 Member Excused: Matt Burke, Councilman Ward 6 Clmn Vaughn moved to excuse Clmn Burke from the Caucus Meeting, Clmn Donahue seconded and his motion stood approved by 6 Yes (Vaughn, Dudley, Donahue, Nenadovich, Davis, Blake) and 1 Absent (Burke) vote. President Nenadovich moved to accept the Caucus Minutes of June 8, 2020 as written, Clwn Davis seconded and his motion stood approved by 6 Yes (Nenadovich, Davis, Blake, Vaughn, Dudley, Donahue) and 1 Absent (Burke) votes. President Nenadovich moved to suspend the Invocation, Pledge of Allegiance, Written Communications to Council, Committee Reports, Miscellaneous Comments and Reports from Directors except for the Report of the Mayor. Clmn Vaughn seconded. His motion stood approved by 6 Yes (Nenadovich, Davis, Blake, Vaughn, Dudley, Donahue) and 1 Absent (Burke) votes. The Chairman asked Council whether they had any questions on the legislation. Regarding Ordinance 58- 2020, Clmn Vaughn asked whether it would be placed in the Legislative Committee. The Chairman said Yes. ORDINANCE NO. 57-2020 Clmn Nenadovich advised that he would move to consider by title. ORDINANCE NO. 58-2020 Clmn Nenadovich advised that he would move to consider by title and to place into the Legislative Committee. ORDINANCE NO. 59-2020 Clmn Nenadovich advised that he would move to consider by title. 1 Chairman Nenadovich moved to adjourn the Caucus Meeting, Clmn Vaughn seconded and his motion was approved by 6 Yes (Nenadovich, Davis, Blake, Vaughn, Dudley, Donahue) and 1 Absent (Burke) votes.
