Clmn Blake asked whether the application dates for the Community Relations Committee had been determined. President Burke replied that, after talking with the Mayor, he had announced in The Neighborhood News that February 28, 2021 was the deadline for applications. So far, he had three applicants and hoped for at least six, because the committee needs six. He would then submit the applications to Council and the Mayor for the interview process. Therefore, he was moving forward on that. Clwn Davis asked whether people were applying by just sending a statement by email or sending in a physical snail mail. The Chair had asked them to either email Jen Duber, the Mayor’s secretary, or if they so chose, they could also physically snail mail their resume and letter of intent directly to the Mayor's office 1 at 5407 Turney Road, Garfield Heights, Ohio 44125. The announcement was scheduled to appear in The Neighborhood News on Wednesday. In addition, the Chair was trying to get Bruce and Justin to post it on the city Website. Hearing no further questions, President Burke moved to adjourn the Council Caucus Meeting and Clmn Donahue seconded. The motion was approved unanimously. Council President Burke adjourned the Caucus Meeting at 6:48 p.m. and stated that the Regular Council Meeting would begin as scheduled at 7 p.m. Approved, Respectfully Submitted, ______________________________ _______________________ Matt Burke Barbara Molin Council President Clerk of Council 2 3
