Call to Order/Roll Call MEMBERS Meeting of the Village Board was called to order at 7:00 pm by President Ken Parker. Ken Parker Village President 2. Approval of minutes from the May 4thth, 2023, meeting. Motion by Wydra to approve (with changes: remove Jim Krause and add Joyce – Duane Gallo-A she should have been marked as absent on May 4); carried 4-0 Trustee 3. Update of 2022/2023 Goals and Objectives. Paul Jargstorf Trustee a. Jargstorf asked for an update on Young and the Restless tree donation. John advised there has been no decision. Beth Wydra 4. New Business: (Discussion) Trustee a. June Agenda - Joyce Delong A question was brought up as to why June Agenda is listed. Trustee 5. Ongoing Business: (Discussion) Pamela Larson Trustee a. CMAR Phil Traskaski- A John Cole gave a brief description of CMAR report and grading system. Trustee Jargstorf asked who does grading – John advised it is the DNR. Joyce brought up discussion of phosphorous levels and how to lower the level. b. Employee Picnic Possible outing to local establishment. Waiting to hear from PD. Discussion of possible dates (9/9/23). Parker will check with establishment for open dates. c. Job description review Discussion regarding what other communities are doing as far as an Administrator or Manager/Clerk position and the need to see what similar communities have decided. Discussed needing all board members present to make decision. Plan to post job in December. 6. Ordinance and Resolution Updates None. 7. Department Head Reports: • Director of PW -John conducted performance review of his department. Joyce asked about continuing education – all but 2 have operator’s licenses. Ken asked if anyone else had enough licenses to run the plant. Klabunde and Doyle have 2 more licenses to pursue. • Chief of PD – No representative from the PD. • Clerk Treasurer. -No update given 8. Village President Report-No report given. 9.
