Georgetown City Council Work Session
July 23, 2025
5 pm
Mayor Jenkins called the Georgetown City Council Work Session to order at 5 pm. All
members were present. After a moment of silence, Mayor Jenkins led the pledge.
1. Minutes – A motion to approve the Minutes from the July 14, 2025 City Council
meeting was made by Councilmember Wilkins Brent and seconded by
Councilmember Hambrick. The motion was unanimously approved.
2. Presentation – TischlerBise, Inc. delivered an updated presentation related to
potential Development Impact Fees in Georgetown.
3. Development Simulation Exercise – GMWSS General Manager Chase Azevedo
presented three hypothetical development scenarios to illustrate the development
community’s present-day investment in public infrastructure. TischlerBise, Inc.
presented the Development Impact Fee that each scenario would owe if the fees were
adopted as presented.
4. Questions, Comments, and General Discussion – Meeting attendees and Council
members provided feedback or asked questions related to the potential Development
Impact Fees.
There being no further business, Mayor Jenkins adjourned the meeting at 6:45 pm.
