MINUTES OF THE GILBERT TOWN COUNCIL IN REGULAR MEETING OF TUESDAY MAY 01, 2018 AT 5:30 PM, MUNICIPAL CENTER 1, ROOM 233 50 E CIVIC CENTER DRIVE, GILBERT, ARIZONA COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Jenn Daniels, Vice Mayor Victor Petersen, Councilmembers Scott Anderson, Eddie Cook, Brigette Peterson, Jordan Ray and Jared Taylor COUNCIL ABSENT: None STAFF PRESENT: Manager Patrick Banger, Clerk Lisa Maxwell, Town Attorney Christopher Payne and Judge John Hudson AGENDA ITEM RECESS SPECIAL MEETING AND RECONVENE IN EXECUTIVE SESSION A MOTION was made by Councilmember Jordan Ray, seconded by Vice Mayor Brigette Peterson, to recess the Special Meeting to reconvene in Executive Session to conduct employment evaluation and discuss assignments of Presiding Judge John Hudson, Town Clerk Lisa Maxwell, Town Manager Patrick Banger, and Town Attorney Christopher Payne. Motion carried 6-0, with Councilmember Jared Taylor not present for the vote. ADJOURN EXECUTIVE SESSION AND RECONVENE SPECIAL MEETING A MOTION was made by Councilmember Victor Petersen, seconded by Councilmember Jared Taylor, to recess the Executive Session to reconvene in Special Meeting. Motion carried 7-0. ADJOURN A MOTION was made by Councilmember Victor Petersen, seconded by Councilmember Jared Taylor to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 7-0.
