MINUTES OF THE GILBERT TOWN COUNCIL, IN SPECIAL MEETING OF TUESDAY DECEMBER 01, 2020 AT 5:30 PM, MUNICIPAL CENTER I, ROOM 300 50 E CIVIC CENTER DRIVE, GILBERT, ARIZONA COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Scott Anderson, Vice Mayor Yung Koprowski, Councilmembers Laurin Hendrix, Scott September, Jared Taylor, Kathy Tilque, and Aimee Yentes COUNCIL ABSENT: None STAFF PRESENT: Town Manager Patrick Banger, Town Clerk Chaveli Herrera, Town Attorney Christopher Payne AGENDA ITEM CALL TO ORDER Mayor Anderson called the meeting to order at 5:31 p.m. RECESS SPECIAL MEETING AND RECONVENE IN EXECUTIVE SESSION A MOTION was made by Councilmember Taylor, seconded by Councilmember Tilque to recess the Special Meeting and reconvene in Executive Session pursuant to: A.R.S. §§ 38-431.03(A)(3), (4), discussion or consultation for legal advice with the Town Attorney and to consider the Town’s position and instruct the Town Attorney regarding the One Arizona Opioid Settlement Memorandum of Understanding. Motion carried 7-0. ADJOURN EXECUTIVE SESSION AND RECONVENE SPECIAL MEETING A MOTION was made by Councilmember Yentes, seconded by Councilmember September to recess the Executive Session and reconvene in Special Meeting. Motion carried 7-0.
