MINUTES OF THE GILBERT TOWN COUNCIL, IN REGULAR MEETING OF THURSDAY AUGUST 18, 2022 AT 5:00 PM, PUBLIC SAFETY BUILDING, AMPHITHEATER 50 E CIVIC CENTER DRIVE, GILBERT, ARIZONA COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Brigette Peterson, Vice Mayor Aimee Yentes, Councilmembers Scott Anderson, Laurin Hendrix, Yung Koprowski, Scott September, and Kathy Tilque COUNCIL ABSENT: None STAFF PRESENT: Town Manager Patrick Banger, Town Clerk Chaveli Herrera, and Town Attorney Christopher Payne AGENDA ITEM CALL TO ORDER Mayor Peterson called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. Town Clerk Herrera called roll and declared a quorum present. CONSENT CALENDAR 1 ELECTION - consider adoption of a Resolution accepting the canvass of the Primary Election of August 2, 2022 and presentation of Certificates of Election. A MOTION was made by Councilmember Tilque, seconded by Councilmember September to adopt the Resolution accepting the canvass of the Primary Election on August 2, 2022 and present the Certificates of Election. Motion carried 5-1, with Councilmember Hendrix casting the dissenting vote and Vice Mayor Yentes not present for the vote. Resolution No. 4312 was adopted.
