MINUTES OF THE GILBERT TOWN COUNCIL, IN SPECIAL MEETING OF MONDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2022 AT 6:00 PM, GILBERT PUBLIC SAFETY BUILDING, CONFERENCE ROOM 6, 75 EAST CIVIC CENTER DRIVE, GILBERT, ARIZONA COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Brigette Peterson, Vice Mayor Aimee Yentes, Councilmembers Scott Anderson, Yung Koprowski, Scott September, and Kathy Tilque COUNCIL ABSENT: Councilmember Laurin Hendrix STAFF PRESENT: Town Manager Patrick Banger, Town Attorney Christopher Payne, Deputy Clerk Judy Martinez AGENDA ITEM CALL TO ORDER Mayor Peterson called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m. ROLL CALL Deputy Clerk Martinez declared a quorum was present. RECESS SPECIAL MEETING AND RECONVENE IN EXECUTIVE SESSION A MOTION was made by Councilmember September, seconded by Councilmember Tilque, to recess the Special Meeting and reconvene in Executive Session pursuant to A.R.S. § 38- 431.03(A)(3), legal advice from the Town Attorney regarding rules of decorum, procedure, and order for public meetings. 1 Motion carried 5-0, with Vice Mayor Yentes absent at time of vote. Vice Mayor Yentes joined the meeting at 6:06 p.m. ADJOURN EXECUTIVE SESSION AND RECONVENE SPECIAL MEETING A MOTION was made by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Koprowski, to adjourn Executive Session and reconvene Special Meeting. Motion carried 6- 0.
