MINUTES OF THE GILBERT TOWN COUNCIL, IN SPECIAL MEETING OF MONDAY, JUNE 3, 2024 AT 5:00 PM, MUNICIPAL BUILDING I, COMMUNITY ROOM 202, 50 E. CIVIC CENTER DRIVE, GILBERT, ARIZONA COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Brigette Peterson, Vice Mayor Scott Anderson, Councilmembers Chuck Bongiovanni, Bobbi Buchli, Yung Koprowski, Kathy Tilque and Jim Torgeson COUNCIL ABSENT: None STAFF PRESENT: Town Manager Patrick Banger, Town Attorney Christopher Payne, and Town Clerk Chaveli Herrera AGENDA ITEM CALL TO ORDER Mayor Peterson called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. ROLL CALL Town Clerk Herrera verified a quorum was present. RECESS SPECIAL MEETING AND RECONVENE IN EXECUTIVE SESSION A MOTION was made by Councilmember Bongiovanni, seconded by Councilmember Buchli, to recess the Special Meeting and reconvene in Executive Session pursuant to A.R.S. §38- 431.03(A)(1) to conduct employment evaluation and discuss assignments of Town Clerk Chaveli Herrera, Presiding Judge David Cutchen, Town Attorney Christopher Payne, and Town Manager Patrick Banger. Motion carried 7-0. 1 ADJOURN EXECUTIVE SESSION AND RECONVENE SPECIAL MEETING A MOTION was made by Councilmember Bongiovanni, seconded by Councilmember Buchli, to adjourn Executive Session and reconvene in Special Meeting. Motion carried 7-0.
