MINUTES OF THE GILBERT COUNCIL SUBCOMMITTEE ON BOARD AND COMMISSION APPLICATION SCREENING, INTERVIEW, AND SELECTION IN SPECIAL MEETING, AUGUST 15, 2019 AT 6:00 P.M., ROOM 233, 50 EAST CIVIC CENTER DRIVE, GILBERT, ARIZONA COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Jenn Daniels, Vice Mayor Eddie Cook, Councilmembers Scott Anderson, Brigette Peterson, Jordan Ray, and Aimee Yentes COUNCIL ABSENT: Councilmember Jared Taylor CALL TO ORDER OF SPECIAL MEETING Vice Mayor Cook called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. RECESS SPECIAL MEETING AND RECONVENE IN EXECUTIVE SESSION A MOTION was made by Councilmember Peterson, seconded by Councilmember Yentes, to recess the Special Meeting and reconvene in pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03, (A)(1) to interview the applicants Marc Beasley and Jan Simon for the Parks and Recreation Board. Motion carried 3-0, with three Councilmembers not yet present at start of meeting. ADJOURN EXECUTIVE SESSION AND CONVENE SPECIAL MEETING The Special Meeting was reconvened at 6:30 p.m. ADJOURNMENT A MOTION was made by Councilmember Peterson, seconded by Councilmember Anderson, to adjourn the meeting.
