MINUTES OF THE GILBERT COUNCIL SUBCOMMITTEE ON BOARD AND COMMISSION APPLICATION SCREENING, INTERVIEW, AND SELECTION IN SPECIAL MEETING, SEPTEMBER 5, 2019 AT 5:00 P.M., ROOM 233, 50 EAST CIVIC CENTER DRIVE, GILBERT, ARIZONA COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Jenn Daniels, Vice Mayor Eddie Cook, Councilmembers Scott Anderson, Brigette Peterson, Jordan Ray, Jared Taylor, and Aimee Yentes COUNCIL ABSENT: None CALL TO ORDER OF SPECIAL MEETING Councilmember Peterson called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. RECESS SPECIAL MEETING AND RECONVENE IN EXECUTIVE SESSION A MOTION was made by Councilmember Peterson, seconded by Councilmember Anderson, to recess the Special Meeting and reconvene in pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03, (A)(1) to: 1. Discuss applicants Marc Bartolone, Zac Cummard, Mary Dellai, Robert Ferraro, Patrick Finerd, Robert Larson, John McLaughlin, Lindy Mitchell, Bus Obayomi, and Robert Robichaud for the Gilbert, Arizona Self-Insured Trust Fund for Health Insurance Benefits; and 2. Interview applicants Philip Alibrandi, Jeffrey Crane, Keith Koprowski, Nathan Mackin, Scott September, and James Torgeson for the Planning Commission. Motion carried 5-0, with Mayor Daniels and Councilmember Yentes absent at start of meeting. ADJOURN EXECUTIVE SESSION AND CONVENE SPECIAL MEETING The Special Meeting was reconvened at 6:30 p.m. ADJOURNMENT A MOTION was made by Councilmember Peterson, seconded by Councilmember Anderson, to adjourn the meeting.
