MINUTES OF THE GILBERT COUNCIL SUBCOMMITTEE ON BOARD AND COMMISSION APPLICATION SCREENING, INTERVIEW, AND SELECTION IN SPECIAL MEETING, SEPTEMBER 1, 2020 AT 5:00 P.M., ROOM 233, 50 EAST CIVIC CENTER DRIVE, GILBERT, ARIZONA COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Scott Anderson; and Councilmembers Kung Koprowski, Scott September, Bill Spence, Jared Taylor, Kathy Tilque, and Aimee Yentes COUNCIL ABSENT: None CALL TO ORDER OF SPECIAL MEETING Mayor Anderson called the meeting to order at 5:05 p.m. RECESS SPECIAL MEETING AND RECONVENE IN EXECUTIVE SESSION A MOTION was made by Councilmember Yentes, seconded by Councilmember Koprowski, to recess the Special Meeting and reconvene in Executive Session pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03, (A)(1) to interview applicants Colby Ashton, David Bertrando, Anthony Bianchi, David Blaser, Ron DeMario, William Fay, Jeffrey Gonzalez, Tyler Jones, Robert Kelly, and Mathew Ryan for the Planning Commission. Motion carried 6-0; Councilmember Taylor was absent at start of meeting. ADJOURN EXECUTIVE SESSION AND CONVENE SPECIAL MEETING The Special Meeting was reconvened at 6:27 p.m. ADJOURNMENT A MOTION was made by Councilmember Spence, seconded by Councilmember September, to adjourn the meeting.
