MINUTES OF THE GILBERT COUNCIL SUBCOMMITTEE ON BOARD AND COMMISSION APPLICATION SCREENING, INTERVIEW, AND SELECTION IN SPECIAL MEETING, NOVEMBER 10, 2020 AT 6:00 P.M., ROOM 300, 50 EAST CIVIC CENTER DRIVE, GILBERT, ARIZONA COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Scott Anderson; Vice Mayor Yung Koprowski; Councilmembers Laurin Hendrix, Scott September, Jared Taylor, Kathy Tilque, and Aimee Yentes COUNCIL ABSENT: None CALL TO ORDER OF SPECIAL MEETING Mayor Anderson called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. RECESS SPECIAL MEETING AND RECONVENE IN EXECUTIVE SESSION A MOTION was made by Councilmember Taylor, seconded by Vice Mayor Koprowski, to recess the Special Meeting and reconvene in Executive Session pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(1) to: a) discuss and consider applicants Cooper Ashton, Joshua Baldwin, Thomas Bohl, Jason Gilmore, Casey Kendel, Marci Norton, and Kristin Romesburg for the Fire and Police Public Safety Personnel Retirement System (PSPRS) Local Pension Boards; and b) discuss and consider applicants Cooper Ashton, Joshua Baldwin, Robert Elmer, Casey Kendel, Razvan Stanici, Douglas Strom, and Michael Watkins for the Industrial Development Authority. Motion carried 7-0. ADJOURN EXECUTIVE SESSION AND CONVENE SPECIAL MEETING The Special Meeting was reconvened at 6:20 p.m. ADJOURNMENT A MOTION was made by Councilmember Taylor, seconded by Councilmember Yentes, to adjourn the meeting.
