MINUTES OF THE GILBERT COUNCIL SUBCOMMITTEE ON BOARD AND COMMISSION APPLICATION SCREENING, INTERVIEW, AND SELECTION IN SPECIAL MEETING, OCTOBER 19, 2021 AT 5:00 P.M., ROOM 108, 6860 S. POWER ROAD, GILBERT, ARIZONA COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Brigette Peterson; Vice Mayor Yung Koprowski; Councilmembers Scott Anderson, Laurin Hendrix, Scott September, Kathy Tilque, and Aimee Yentes COUNCIL ABSENT: None CALL TO ORDER OF SPECIAL MEETING Mayor Peterson called the meeting to order at 5:02 p.m. RECESS SPECIAL MEETING AND RECONVENE IN EXECUTIVE SESSION A MOTION was made by Councilmember September, seconded by Vice Mayor Koprowski, to recess the Special Meeting and reconvene in Executive Session pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(1) to interview and consider applicants Aubrey Casper, Larry Harmer, Casey Kendel, and Mark Thompson for the Redevelopment Commission. Motion carried 5-0. Councilmembers Hendrix and Yentes were not present at this time, but joined the meeting after. ADJOURN EXECUTIVE SESSION AND CONVENE SPECIAL MEETING The Special Meeting was reconvened at 5:23 p.m. ADJOURNMENT A MOTION was made by Councilmember Hendrix, seconded by Councilmember Anderson, to adjourn the Special meeting.
