MINUTES OF THE GILBERT COUNCIL SUBCOMMITTEE ON BOARD AND COMMISSION APPLICATION SCREENING, INTERVIEW, AND SELECTION IN SPECIAL MEETING, JUNE 14, 2022 AT 5:00 P.M., ECHO ROOM 108, 6860 S. POWER ROAD, GILBERT, ARIZONA COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Brigette Peterson; Vice Mayor Aimee Yentes; Councilmembers Scott Anderson, Laurin Hendrix, Yung Koprowski, Scott September, and Kathy Tilque COUNCIL ABSENT: None CALL TO ORDER OF SPECIAL MEETING Mayor Peterson called the meeting to order at 5:02 p.m. RECESS SPECIAL MEETING AND RECONVENE IN EXECUTIVE SESSION A MOTION was made by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember September, to recess the Special Meeting and reconvene in Executive Session pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(1) to interview and consider applicants Eric Ballester, Charles Dine, Lori Gauna-Barcklay, Jacob Lee, Les Presmyk, and Mark Rendahl for the Veterans Advisory Board. Motion carried 7-0. ADJOURN EXECUTIVE SESSION AND CONVENE SPECIAL MEETING The Special Meeting was reconvened at 6:01 p.m. ADJOURNMENT A MOTION was made by Vice Mayor Yentes, seconded by Councilmember Tilque, to adjourn the Special meeting.
