MINUTES OF THE GILBERT COUNCIL SUBCOMMITTEE ON BOARD AND COMMISSION APPLICATION SCREENING, INTERVIEW, AND SELECTION IN SPECIAL MEETING, MAY 30, 2024, AT 4:30 P.M., MUNICIPAL CENTER I, COMMUNITY ROOM 202, 50 E. CIVIC CENTER DRIVE, GILBERT, ARIZONA COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Brigette Peterson; Vice Mayor Scott Anderson; Councilmembers Chuck Bongiovanni, Bobbi Buchli, Yung Koprowski, Kathy Tilque(attended virtually), and Jim Torgeson COUNCIL ABSENT: None CALL TO ORDER OF SPECIAL MEETING Mayor Peterson called the meeting to order at 4:31 p.m. RECESS OF SPECIAL MEETING AND RECONVENE IN EXECUTIVE SESSION A MOTION was made by Councilmember Bongiovanni, seconded by Vice Mayor Anderson, to recess the Special Meeting and reconvene in Executive Session pursuant to A.R.S. §38- 431.03(A)(1) to interview and consider applicants Lisa Ulibarri Hatlen, Deena LeBio, Stephanie Lingenfelter, Stacy Moreno, Angela Rogers, Courtney Salamon Fejt, Chad Thompson, Katy Walter, Kelly Westerberg, Bradyn Bredemann, Kevin Chen, Owen Fermoyle, and Maxwell Udall for the Community Engagement Task Force. Motion carried 7-0. ADJOURN EXECUTIVE SESSION AND CONVENE SPECIAL MEETING The Special Meeting was reconvened at 8:21 p.m. ADJOURNMENT A MOTION was made by Councilmember Bongiovanni, seconded by Councilmember Buchli, to adjourn the Special meeting.
