CITY OF GLENDALE 2019 4th of July Committee November 7, 2018, 6:30 pm Brass Bell Music Store, 210 W Silver Spring Dr, Milwaukee, WI 53217 Agenda 1. Call to order and Pledge of Allegiance 2. Welcome new members. Welcome back returning members. 3. Discuss and decide overall vision for next year’s celebration (Similar to last year? New in some way? Still focused on a day to bring the community together?) 4. Committee roles 2019 roles – describe and assign probable volunteers. Confirm/change list below: Booklet Sales – Tom Cinealis and Ann Deuser Treasurer/City Liaison including budget, invoices & contracts and liaison with DPW, Police, County, paid vendors – Jessica Ballweg Children’s Parade and cake volunteers – Ann Markuson Parade – Jessica Ballweg (assistant needed) Parade officials and vehicles – MaryLynn Cinealis Scout coordination (food, dunk tank, marching in parade) – Marty Hersh Police presence – Sgt. Mike Morris Layout – Committee Kids games and activities – Hope Liu Food vendors – Martin Hersh Talent Show – Grounds – Eric Zentner Band (evening band) – Sarah Acker Stage acts and stage management – Sarah Acker Promotion/booklet design and layout/signs – Ann Deuser Website and IT (for online documents, forms, photos, etc.) – Steve Schmelzling Committee and Volunteer Shirts – MaryLynn Cinealis Volunteer promotion, coordination, incentives – Fireworks – 5.
