Minutes: Regular Council Meeting May 8, 2023, Budget Workshop May 15, 2023 & Budget Workshop June 5, 2023 Motion: To approve the minutes of the Regular Council Meeting May 8, 2023, Budget May 15, 2023 & Budget Workshop June 5, 2023 as presented. Food Truck/Vendor Event Permit Motion: To adopt food truck/vendor event permit application form “B” per our attorney’s suggestion and will start collecting $25 fee effective January 1, 2024. Portable Speed Signs Motion: To approve the DPW Supervisor to purchase a portable radar sign, addition to a hardwire sign not to exceed $11,000 with installation. Moved by Schluentz, seconded by Caverly McCafferty yes, Schluentz yes, Caverly yes, Moore yes. Motion carried. b. Goodrich Robotic Team Fund Raiser Motion: To approve the fund raiser proposal from the Goodrich High School Robotic Team to use Village property located on M-15, north of Sims Café to conduct a yard sale, can and coin drive as a fundraiser for their non-profit group. Moved by Moore, seconded by Caverly 4 yes, 0 no. Motion carried. c. MML Annual Protec Membership Motion: To approve the application for Michigan Municipal League annual Protec Membership at a yearly fee of $252.75. Moved by Moore, seconded by Schluentz Schluentz yes, Moore yes, Caverly yes, McCafferty yes. Motion carried. d. MML Membership Renewal 2023-2024 Motion: To approve the Michigan Municipal League membership renewal 2023-2024 at a yearly fee of $1059. Consumers Energy Tree Grant Motion: To authorize Councilwoman Schluentz to proceed with the Consumers Energy Full Match Tree Grant process for this year’s request of eight trees. Moved by Moore, seconded by Caverly Moore yes, Caverly yes, McCafferty yes, Schluentz yes. Motion carried. 12. Public Comments: Two members of the public chose to comment  Motion: To have Good Times in Goodrich be added to this agenda to authorize the request of assistance and coordinate with the DPW Supervisor for barrels and road closure signs for the Good Times in Goodrich event. Also, to have the DPW Supervisor to contact Republic Waste for a dumpster to be used during the festival. Moved by McCafferty, seconded by Schluentz 4 yes, 0 no. Motion carried. 13.
