Minutes of the April 19, 2023, Joint City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission Special Meeting, and Minutes of the May 2, 2023, City Council Meeting 10. Annual contract for the mowing of TXDOT rights-of-way within the city limits of Grand Prairie, with Good Earth, Inc., in the estimated annual amount of $474,272.00. This agreement will be for one year with the option to renew for four additional one-year periods totaling $2,371,360 if all renewal options are exercised (Reviewed by the Public Safety, Health, & Environment Committee on 05/01/2023) 11. Change Order #1 for an increase in hourly rate for School Crossing Guard Program with All City Management Services, in the amount of $163,719.90 for the first year, and $163,719.90 annually thereafter for two additional years, totaling $491,159.70 (Reviewed by the Finance & Government Committee on 05/02/2023) 12. Annual Contract for city generated waste disposal with Green Planet, Inc. for an amount not to exceed $25,000 for one year with the option to renew for four (4) additional one-year periods totaling $125,000 if all extensions are exercised (Reviewed by Public Safety, Health & Environment Committee on 05/01/23) 13. Professional services contract with Mike Pietsch Consulting Services, for a three-phase engineering grading evaluation and improvement recommendations of the City of Grand Prairie’s Insurance Service Office (ISO) survey, not to exceed $65,000 (Public Safety, Health, and Environment committee on 05/01/2023) 14. Annual contract for public safety and fire department supplies/equipment from Casco Industries, Inc. through Buy Board, a cooperative agreement, contract #698-23. This price agreement has an estimated annual cost of $360,000 for one year with the option to renew for three additional one-year periods totaling $1,440,000 if all extensions are exercised (Public Safety, Health, and Environment Committee on 05/01/2023) 15. Professional services contract with Front Line Mobile Health, LLC for a one-year period estimated at an annual cost of $245,000 for firefighter’s annual medical physicals, City Council Meeting – May 16, 2023 Page 2 of 6 cardiovascular assessments, cancer screenings, and mental health assessments. This agreement has three one-year renewals for a price totaling $980,000 if all extensions are exercised (Reviewed by Public Safety, Health, and Environment on 05/01/2023) 16. Purchase of one truck chassis with a Traffic Management Attenuator from Gulf Highway Equipment, Hurst TX, using the HGAC cooperative contract HT 06-02 through Bruckner Mack for the purchase price of $199,762.90 (Reviewed by Public Safety, Health, and Environment Committee 05/01/2023) 17. Award bid for the completion of one residential reconstruction project as part of the HOME Reconstruction Program to P & P Construction Services, in the amount of $160,677 (Reviewed by the Finance and Government Committee on 05/02/2023) 18. Annual contract for recycling services for city facilities from Balcones up to $29,040.00 annually. The contract will be for one year with the option to renew for four and additional one- year periods totaling $145,200.00 if all extensions are exercised (Reviewed by the Finance & Government Committee on 05/02/2023) 19. Annual Contract with OTL, Inc. for preventive/recurring maintenance ($89,784), feature stock inventory replacement pricing ($28,925), and expandable programming ($90,000) for the water fountain/show feature at Epic Central. This contract will be for one year for an amount not to exceed $208,709 (Reviewed by the Finance & Government Committee on 05/02/2023) 20. Water Tower Site Lease with T-Mobile West LLC for Installation of Antennas and Equipment for Cellular Communications at 6720 TX 360, Mansfield, Texas for a five year term with the right to renew for four additional five-year periods, and a rent of $30,000 per year with 15% increase every 5 years for a total estimated income of $1,011,357 (Reviewed by the Public Safety, Health, and Environment Committee on 05/01/2023) 21. Contract amendment with Halff Associates, Inc. for additional engineering services related to the Grand Prairie Landfill - West Fork Trinity River Erosion Protection Improvements project to ensure compliance with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department in the amount of $30,200.00 (Reviewed by the Finance and Government Committee on 05/02/2023) 22. Professional Engineering Services Contract with Gresham Smith for the TRA Basin 5.0J Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Survey in the amount of $1,176,100.00 (Reviewed by the Finance and Government Committee on 05/02/2023) 23. Authorize and approve a 20-year license to ASD-CEI January Lane MM, LLC to allow a proposed retaining wall to encroach on a 25-foot public drainage easement and crossing a public storm sewer near the address of 2450 January Lane, Grand Prairie, for a total of $600.00 in revenue to the City 24. Construction contract with Iron T Construction, Inc. for Grand Prairie Landfill - West Fork Trinity River Erosion Protection Improvements in the total amount of $625,450.00 for Base Bid; material testing with Alliance Geotechnical Group in the amount of $14,439.30; in-house engineering in the amount of $31,273.00; and 5% construction contract contingency in the amount of $31,273.00 for a total project cost of $702,435.30 (Reviewed by the Finance and Government Committee on 05/02/2023) City Council Meeting – May 16, 2023 Page 3 of 6 25. Purchase of two (2) Dell Technologies PowerScale A300 - 240TB data storage units from Unique Digital Technology, LLC, in the amount of $499,914.78 through a national cooperative agreement with the Department of Information Resources (DIR) (Reviewed by the Finance & Government Committee on 05/02/2023) 28. STP-23-02-0002 - Site Plan - Commissary at 130 Lakeview Dr (City Council District 3). Site Plan for a 2,300 sq. ft. commissary on 0.219 acres.
