Minutes of October 14, 2024, Public Safety, Health, and Environment Committee Meeting 3. 2025 Public Safety, Health and Environment Committee Meeting Dates 4. Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to Execute Multiple Use Agreements with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) for the Installation and Operation of a License Plate Recognition Camera within TxDOT Rights of Way INDIVIDUAL CONSIDERATION 5. Resolution of the City Council of the City of Grand Prairie, Texas, Adopting the October 7, 2024, City of Grand Prairie Hazard Mitigation Action Plan that Addresses Natural, Man-Made, and Technological Hazards; Providing an Effective Date 6. Contract with Wilson Bauhaus Interiors for the purchase of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) for the new Emergency Operations Center in the amount of $327,374.19 through national interlocal agreements with both NCPA and OMNIA Partners Cooperative 7. Ratification of previous expenditures for emergency veterinary care of a Police Department canine, from the Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital in the amount of $81,940.77 8. Annual contract for Laboratory testing Services from Armstrong Forensic Laboratory, Inc., in the amount of up to $250,000 annually. This contract will be for one year, with the option to renew for four additional one-year periods totaling $1,250,000 if all extensions are exercised. Award a secondary award to Eurofins Environment Testing South Central, LLC, in the amount of up to $250,000 annually, to be utilized only if the primary awarded vendor is unable to fulfill the City’s needs Public Safety, Health, and Environment Committee – November 04, 2024 Page 1 of 2 EXECUTIVE SESSION The Public Safety, Health, and Environment Committee may conduct a closed session pursuant to Chapter 551, Subchapter D of the Government Code, V.T.C.A., to discuss any of the following: (1) Section 551.071 “Consultation with Attorney” (2) Section 551.072 “Deliberation Regarding Real Property” (3) Section 551.074 “Personnel Matters” (4) Section 551.087 “Deliberations Regarding Economic Development Negotiations.” CITIZEN COMMENTS Citizens may speak during Citizen Comments for up to five minutes on any item not on the agenda by completing and submitting a speaker card. The views expressed during Citizen Comments are the views of the speaker, and not the City of Grand Prairie or City Council.
