Village of Grantsburg Administration Committee Meeting Monday, September 23, 2024 The Administration Committee for the Village of Grantsburg met on Monday, September 23, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. in the Village Board Room, 316 S. Brad Street, Grantsburg, Wisconsin. Present: President Terrance Kucera, Trustee Greg Peer, Trustee Hank Java. Others: Director of Public Works John Erickson. Attending via zoom: Bryan Cunningham, SEH Call to Order. Chairman/President Kucera called the Administration Committee meeting to order at 3:00 p.m. Clerk/Treasurer Meyer conducted roll call. The pledge of allegiance was recited. Campground bids. Bryan Cunningham-SEH went over the bids received for the campground expansion project. Four construction companies submitted bids. Bids ranged from a base bid of $754,876.68 to $1,045,042.50 with Alternates 1, 2 and 3 totaling $80,922.70 to $222,161. Total bids with Alternatives $835,799.38 to $1,248,452.50. Cunningham explained the plan is for 30 sites; 7 full hookup, 7 water & electric, 6 electric, and 10 with no hookups. The committee discussed some of the higher line items and how to reduce the cost. Stout Construction, LLC was the low bidder. Cunningham reported working with them on at least three other projects and would recommend their work. The project is to be completed by June 30, 2025. The committee decided to discuss the options in more depth at a future meeting. Memory Lake Aquatic Plant Management Plan survey. C/T Meyer provided a draft survey for the committee’s review. Several of the questions were discussed. The committee members will study the questions for several days and get back to C/T Meyer with any changes and additions. 2025 Budget questions.
