Village of Grantsburg Plan Commission Meeting Monday, April 10, 2023 The Plan Commission for the Village of Grantsburg met on Monday, April 10, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. in the Village Board Room, 316 S. Brad Street, Grantsburg, Wisconsin. Present: Chairman/President Terrance Kucera, Trustee Greg Peer, Members Brent Blomberg, Natalie Finch, LuAnn Ebersold Absent: Member Tyler Meyers Others present: Director of Public Works (DPW) John Erickson, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Allison Longhenry, Greg Marsten-Burnett County Sentinel, Kyle Larson-Keller, Inc., Rod Kleiss Call to Order Chairman/President Kucera called the Plan Commission meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. CUP application – Indianhead Credit Union President Kucera called the Public Hearing to order at 5:00 p.m. C/T Meyer read the Public Hearing Notice. President Kucera asked for anyone wishing to speak in favor of the CUP. Kyle Larson of Keller, Inc., representing Indianhead Credit Union, provided new draft plans for the construction of a new credit union office with drive-thru at 725 S. Robert Street (parcel #07-131-2-38-19-14-5 15-361-018000). This is a corner lot and all required setbacks would be complied with. The entrance would be off of S. Robert Street with no direct access to State Road 70. President Kucera asked if anyone wished to speak against the CUP. No one spoke. President Kucera closed the Public Hearing at 5:15 p.m. Motion by Member Blomberg, second by Member Ebersold to recommend the Village Board approve the Conditional Use Permit application received from Indianhead Credit Union to build a new credit union office with drive-thru at 725 S. Robert Street (parcel #07-131-2-38-19-14-5 15-361-018000). Motion carried unanimously. Ordinance Amendment Clerk/Treasurer Meyer presented a draft Zero-Lot Line Ordinance for new duplexes constructed with the intent of having two different owners of each unit in R-3 Two- Family Residential and R-4 Multiple-Family Residential Districts. Motion by Trustee Peer, second by Member Blomberg to recommend the Village Board adopt Ordinance Amendment #2023-01 adding provisions for zero-lot line construction in R-3 and R-4 zoning districts pending approval by the Village Attorney. Motion carried unanimously. Minutes Member Blomberg indicated the minutes from the March 13, 2023, meeting contain a motion to approve the March 13, 2023, minutes when the date should be the January 9, 2023, minutes. Motion by Member Blomberg, second by Trustee Finch to approve the minutes of the March 13, 2023, Plan Commission meeting with date correction. Motion passed unanimously. Adjournment.
