Village of Grantsburg Plan Commission Meeting Monday, March 13, 2023 The Plan Commission for the Village of Grantsburg met on Monday, March 13, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. in the Village Board Room, 316 S. Brad Street, Grantsburg, Wisconsin. Present: Chairman/President Terrance Kucera, Trustee Greg Peer, Members Brent Blomberg, Natalie Finch, Tyler Myers Absent: Member LuAnn Ebersold Others present: Director of Public Works (DPW) John Erickson, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Allison Longhenry Call to Order Chairman/President Kucera called the Plan Commission meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Minutes Member Myers indicated he was present at the Plan Commission meeting held on March 13, 2023, and not absent as the minutes currently reflect. Motion by Member Blomberg, second by Trustee Peer to approve the minutes of the January 9, 2023, Plan Commission meeting corrected to include Member Tyler Myers as present. Motion passed unanimously. Zoning change request Members Finch and Myers indicated their hesitation in granting the zoning change as requested by Indianhead Credit Union for the property at 214 E. State Rd 70 from B-2 Highway Commercial District to B-1 General Commercial District. Members of the Commission had several questions for the applicants and were concerned with setting a precedence and spot zoning. Motion by Member Blomberg, second by Member Finch to recommend the Village Board postpone a decision on the zoning change request from Indianhead Credit Union for the property at 214 E. State Rd 70 until the requester appears to answer questions at a future meeting. Motion carried unanimously. Adjournment.
