Village of Grantsburg Plan Commission Meeting Monday, December 9, 2024 The Plan Commission for the Village of Grantsburg met on Monday, December 9, 2024, at 5:15 p.m. in the Village Board Room, 316 S. Brad Street, Grantsburg, Wisconsin. Present: Chairman/President Terrance Kucera, Trustee Greg Peer, Members Brent Blomberg, LuAnn Ebersold, Angie Anderson. Member Natalie Finch via conference call. Absent: Member Tyler Myers Others present: John Erickson, Director of Public Works, Allison Longhenry, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Call to Order Chairman/President Kucera called the Plan Commission meeting to order at 5:15 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Minutes Motion by Member Blomberg, second by Trustee Peer to approve the minutes of the October 14, 2024, Plan Commission meeting as presented. Motion passed unanimously. Notice of Preliminary Plat Review John Erickson, owner of a parcel located on N. Park Street, was present to explain his future plans for this land. The preliminary plat shows the parcel divided into 5 lots. Erickson explained he would eventually like to have a home on each lot, either for sale or rent. Several members had questions including the size of the smaller lots, the type of homes to be built or placed on the lots, and the zoning. Erickson answered each question saying the lots are larger that most residential lots in the area, he is thinking nicer manufactured homes, and the zoning will remain Single- Family Residential. The parcel is located in a Planned Unit Development (PUD). Motion by Member Blomberg, second by Member Ebersold to recommend the Village Board approve the preliminary plat presented by John and Amber Erickson, owners of parcel #07-131-2-38-19-11-3 01-000-015000 located on N. Park Street, to divide this parcel into five (5) lots. Motion passed unanimously. Adjournment The meeting was adjourned at 5:25 p.m. Sheila Meyer Clerk/Treasurer
