City Council Meetings

City of Green River, City Council Workshop Proceedings for March 26, 2019, 6:30 pm, Council Chambers, Mayor Pete Rust called the meeting to order. The following Council Members were present: Gary Killpack, Robert Berg, Lisa Maes, Tom Murphy, Michael Shutran and Jim Zimmerman. The following were present representing the City: City Administrator Reed Clevenger, Director of Finance Chris Meats, Director of Parks and Recreation Brad Raney and Director of Public Works Mark Westenskow. Wyoming Waste Systems Senior Rate Discussion: Michelle Foote explained options for senior rates. Option 1 will provide a 65-gallon trash cart for $26.50 per month. Option 2 seniors would keep the current 95-gallon trash cart and the rate would be $29.50 per month. Seniors would still have the recycling and yard waste containers. In order to get the senior rates, the company would need proof of age of 62 or older and they are recommending for council to approve only one option. They discussed the transfer station, resident limits for dumping per year and the recycling program. 2019 Parks & Recreation Master Plan Discussion: Mr. Raney gave a brief presentation on the Parks and Recreation Master Plan.
