City Council Meetings

City of Green River, City Council Workshop Proceedings for May 11, 2021, 6:30 pm, in Council Chambers, Mayor Pete Rust called the meeting to order. The following Council Members were present: Gary Killpack, Robert Berg, Sherry Bushman, Mike Shutran, George Jost and Jim Zimmerman. The following were present representing the City: City Administrator Reed Clevenger, Government Affairs and Grants Administrator Ryan Rust, Director of Finance Chris Meats, Director of Public Works Mark Westenskow, Assistant Fire Chief Larry Erdmann and Parks & Recreation Director Brad Raney. Presentations: (A) FY2022 Budget Presentation. Reed gave a brief overview of the FY2022 Budget. Council discussed community service funding and asked staff to get some clarification on why some did not reduce their requests, equipment replacement and funding cuts. Council thanked Reed and the Department Heads for working so hard on the budget; (B) Continuation of the Discussion on Community Pride and Volunteerism. Council Members gave brief updates on the status of the Diversion Dam Safety Issues and the URA/Main Street.
