City Council Meetings

City of Green River, City Council Workshop Proceedings for July 13, 2021, 6:30 pm, in Council Chambers, Mayor Pete Rust called the meeting to order. The following Council Members were present: Gary Killpack, Robert Berg, Sherry Bushman, George Jost and Jim Zimmerman. The following were present representing the City: City Administrator Reed Clevenger, Director of Public Works Mark Westenskow, Senior Building Inspector Ken Yager, Planning and Zoning Administrator Amy Cox, Government Affairs and Grant Manager Ryan Rust, Assistant Fire Chief Larry Erdmann and Parks & Recreation Director Brad Raney. Presentations: (A) Southwest Wyoming BMX. Members of the Southwest Wyoming BMX asked Council to consider allowing them to take the current bike park down at Stratton Myers area and turn it into a BMX Track; (B) Request for a Special Use Permit for a 80’ Lattice Type Cellular Tower by Union Telephone Company. After a discussion Council agreed to have it added to the July 20, 2021 agenda to be considered again; (C) Continuation of the Discussion on Community Pride and Volunteerism.
