City Council Meetings

City of Green River, City Council Workshop & Council Proceedings for November 21, 2023, 6 pm, City Hall Council Chambers, Mayor Pete Rust called the meeting to order. The following Council Members were present: George Jost, Sherry Bushman and Ron Williams. The following were present representing the City: Acting City Administrator Chris Meats, Director of Public Works Mark Westenskow, Public Affairs and Grants Manager Ryan Rust, Communications Administrator Steve Core, Interim Police Chief Shaun Sturlaugson, Assistant Fire Chief Larry Erdmann, Assistant Fire Chief Bill Robinson, Recreation Supervisor Sherry Schumacher and City Attorney Galen West. Workshop Agenda: Wyoming Waste Systems Update. Approval of the Agenda: Council Member Jost moved to approve the agenda. Council Member Bushman seconded, motion carried. Proclamations: Small Business Saturday. Consent Agenda: Council Member Williams moved to approve the following items: (A) Issuance of a Catering Permit to the Ponderosa Bar to cater alcoholic beverages at the Muley Fanatic Christmas Party on December 9, 2023, from 3 pm until midnight, at the Island Pavilion; (B) Approval of the purchase of infield mix, in the amount of $45,820 from Arbor Rock, LLC, with the specified terms and conditions, pending legal approval; (C) Approval of an Agreement with DocuSign, Inc. for the notary module software, in the amount of $3,253.10; (D) Approval of the Utility Review Committee’s recommendation to credit utility account 3607-001, in the amount of $910; (E) Issuance of a catering permit to The Tomahawk Tavern, LLC for an event at Twisted Timber on December 2, 2023, from 12 pm until 10 pm, located at 91 W Flaming Gorge Way; (F) Approval of Minutes from: October 24, 2023 Public Officer Training Workshop and November 7, 2023 Council; (G) Approval of Payment of Bills: Prepaid Invoices $1,594.43, Outstanding Invoices $512,002.19, Payroll Expenditures $307,802.33 and Preauthorized Payments $1,065,000.00. Council Member Bushman seconded, motion carried. Adjournment: Council Member Jost moved to adjourn at 7:07 pm.
