OF THE TOWN OF GREENVILLE COUNCIL
HELD IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS
Monday, January 03, 2022 at 6:30 p.m.

5. Public Comments
Resident – Gary Mueller, 701 Vernon Road, asked two questions of Council. Mr. Mueller asked
if Council had added unlimited service to the bid specs for the garbage contract and what is being
done to clean up the hazardous situation at 265 Clinton Street.

Non-Resident – None
6. Motion to adopt Resolution 2022-01, to appoint Linda Zuschlag to the vacant Council
seat with a term expiring on December 31, 2023.
Motion by Councilor Beil, seconded by Councilor Carr to adopt Resolution 2022-01, to appoint
Linda Zuschlag to the vacant Council seat with a term expiring on December 31, 2023. Motion
carried 6-0.
7. Nominations and election of Deputy Mayor
Councilor Beil nominated Evan Hereford, there was not second to this nomination. Councilor
Butcher nominated Linda Zuschlag, Councilor Hall seconded that nomination. There were no
additional nominations to Mayor Hamill called for the vote on the nomination and second for
Linda Zuschlag to be appointed as Deputy Mayor. Nomination/motion carried 6-0.
8. Motion to Appoint
A. Town Manager – Jasson W. Urey
B. Secretary/Treasurer – Jasson W. Urey
C. Emergency Management Coordinator (EMC) – Jasson W. Urey
D. Open Records Officer – Jasson W. Urey
E. Assistant Open Records Officer – Rosalynn Reagle
F. Code Enforcement/Zoning Officer – Lyle Huffman
G. Building Code Official – Pennsylvania Construction Inspections
H. Solicitor – Douglas, Joseph & Olson
I. Engineer – KLH Engineers
J. Received of Wage Taxes – Berkheimer Associates
K. Auditor – McGill, Power, Bell & Associates, LLP
Motion by Councilor Zuschlag, seconded by Councilor Butcher to make the appointments as
listed. Motion carried 7-0.
9. 2022 Meeting Schedule
Motion by Councilor Hereford, seconded by Councilor Carr to hold the 2022 regular sessions on
the second Monday of each month and the work sessions on the Wednesday prior to the regular
meeting. All meetings will begin at 6:30pm. Motion carried 7-0.
10. Appointment of Junior Councilor
Motion by Councilor Zuschlag, seconded by Councilor Beil to appoint Ashton Martin as Junior
Councilor for the Town of Greenville. Motion carried 7-0. Mayor Hamill then administer the
Oath of Office, swearing in Ashton Martin.

11. Adjournment
Having no other re-organizational business before Council, the meeting adjourned to the work
session meeting at 6:42pm. Motion by Councilor Butcher, seconded by Councilor Carr to
adjourn.

Town Manager for a 2-year term.
