Greenville Sanitary Authority 7-25-19 GREENVILLE SANITARY AUTHORITY GREENVILLE, PENNSYLVANIA SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES Thursday, July 25, 2019 ~ 6:00 p.m. CALL TO ORDER Mr. Bailey called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm ROLL CALL: Jonathan Bailey, Chairperson Pamela Auchter, Vice Chairperson Casey Shilling - Excused Amy Hollowell Joshua Stephens - Absent OTHERS PRESENT: Lyle Huffman, Director of Public Services James Douglas, Solicitor - John Mowry, KLH Engineers – Excused Kevin Creagh, KLH Engineers *No public or press in attendance. Motion by Mrs. Hollowell, second by Mrs. Auchter to enter Executive Session to discuss a personnel matter. Motion carried 3-0 @ 6:10 PM. Motion by Mrs. Auchter, second by Mrs. Hollowell to exit Executive Session and reconvene the regular meeting. Motion carried 3-0 @ 6:00 PM. 1. REORGANIZATION A. Motion by Mrs. Hollowell, second by Mrs. Auchter to nominate Jonathan Bailey as Chairperson. Motion carried 3-0. B. Motion by Mrs. Hollowell, second by Mr. Bailey to nominate Pam Auchter as Vice Chairperson. Motion carried 3-0. C. Motion by Mrs. Hollowell, second by Mrs. Auchter to nominate Casey Shilling as Secretary. Motion carried 3-0. D. Motion by Mrs. Auchter, second by Mrs. Hollowell to set the 2019-2020 meeting schedule as follows: October 24, 2019 @ 6:00 PM January 23, 2020 @ 6:00 PM April 23, 2020 @ 6:00 PM July 23, 2020 @ 6:00 PM Motion carried 3-0. 2. PUBLIC COMMENTS None 3. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES Page 1 of 2 Greenville Sanitary Authority 7-25-19 A. Motion by Mrs. Auchter, second by Mrs. Hollowell to accept the minutes from the April 25, 2019 regular meeting and the June 27, 2019 special meeting. Motion carried 3-0. 4. FINANCIAL REPORTS A. Motion by Mrs. Hollowell, second by Mrs. Auchter to accept the June 2019 treasurer’s report for the Sanitary Fund. Motion carried 3-0. B. Motion by Mrs. Hollowell, second by Mrs. Auchter to accept the June 2019 Treasurer’s report for the Stormwater Fund. Motion carried 3-0. 5. ENGINEER’S REPORT(S) A. Motion by Mrs. Auchter, second by Mrs. Hollowell to accept the July 2019 engineer’s report. Motion Carried 3-0. 6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS A. None 7. NEW BUSINESS A. Motion by Mrs. Hollowell, second by Mrs. Auchter to accept the WWTP Basis of Design Report. Motion carried 3-0. 8. AUTHORITY MEMBERS COMMENTS None 9. BOROUGH MANAGER COMMENTS None 10. DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICES COMMENTS Mr. Huffman commented on the green F-350 truck at the sewer plant needing to be towed to a mechanic to diagnose the issue. He commented that the Authority may have to revisit the proposed idea of replacing the truck once we find out what the issues are with the truck. 11. ADJOURNMENT A.
