Borough of Greenville Council Minutes 08-19-14 BOROUGH OF GREENVILLE www.greenvilleborough.com MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOROUGH OF GREENVILLE COUNCIL HELD IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. 1. Tina Heckathorne – Spoke on the ambulance issue. 4. Unfinished Business A. Motion by Councilor Hollowell, seconded by Councilor Zuschlag, to accept the Elite EMS proposal to use Fire Station as a dispatch point for their ambulance service. Council deliberated on the issue. A roll call vote was taken: Councilor Hollowell: Yes Councilor Shaw: Yes Councilor Auchter: Yes Councilor Zuschlag: Yes Councilor Peden: No Councilor Bailey: Yes Council President Shipley: No Motion carried 5 to 2. B. Motion by Councilor Zuschlag, seconded by Councilor Auchter, to add Elite EMS to the current 911 dispatch list for ambulance service provider for the Borough of Greenville. Council deliberated on the issue. A roll call vote was taken: 2 Borough of Greenville Council Minutes 08-19-14 Councilor Hollowell: Yes Councilor Shaw: Yes Councilor Auchter: Yes Councilor Zuschlag: Yes Councilor Peden: No Councilor Bailey: No Council President Shipley: No Motion carried 4 to 3. 5. New Business A. Motion by Councilor Hollowell, seconded by Councilor Auchter, to request the Civil Service Commission to update the part-time police officer eligibility list. Council deliberated on the issue. Motion carried. 6. Public Comments Glenn Miller, Elite, thanked everyone for the opportunity to come to the area. 7. Adjournment to Executive Session Motion by Councilor Hollowell, seconded by Councilor Shaw, to adjourn to executive session to discuss a personnel matter at 8:23pm. Motion carried. 8. Adjournment from Executive Session Motion by Councilor Hollowell, seconded by Councilor Zuschlag, to adjourn from executive session at 8:51pm. Motion carried. 9. Adjournment Having no other business before council, motion by Councilor Shaw, seconded by Councilor Hollowell, to adjourn the meeting at 8:52pm. Motion carried. Respectfully submitted, Jasson W.
