Motion by Councilor Hollowell, seconded by Councilor Zuschlag, for the first and final reading of Ordinance 1562, establishing the 2017 General Purposes Tax Rate (24.5 mills). Motion carried 7-0. Mr. Urey read the ordinance aloud. B. Motion by Councilor Bailey, seconded by Councilor Zuschlag, to adopt Ordinance 1562, establishing the 2017 General Purposes Tax Rate (24.5 mills). Motion by Councilor Hollowell, seconded by Councilor Bailey, for the first and final reading of Ordinance 1563, establishing the 2017 Special Purposes Fire Protection Services Tax Rate (3 mills). Motion carried 7-0. Mr. Urey read the ordinance aloud. D. Motion by Councilor Zuschlag, seconded by Councilor Hollowell, to adopt Ordinance 1563, establishing the 2017 Special Purposes Fire Protection Services Tax Rate (3 mills). Motion carried 7-0. E. Motion by Councilor Hollowell, seconded by Councilor Bailey, for the first and final reading of Ordinance 1564, establishing the 2017 General Tax Rate for Indebtedness (8.58 mills). Motion carried 7-0. Mr. Urey read the ordinance aloud. F. Motion by Councilor Hollowell, seconded by Councilor Bailey, to adopt Ordinance 1564, establishing the 2017 General Tax Rate for Indebtedness (8.58 mills). Motion carried 7-0. G. Motion by Councilor Zuschlag, seconded by Councilor Hollowell, for the first and final reading of Ordinance 1565, establishing the 2017 Earned Income Tax Rate (1% for Residents & 1% for Non-residents). Motion carried 7-0. Mr. Urey read the ordinance aloud. H. Motion by Councilor Hollowell, seconded by Councilor Bailey, to adopt Ordinance 1565, establishing the 2017 Earned Income Tax Rate (1% for Residents & 1% for Non- residents). Motion carried 7-0. I. Motion by Councilor Hollowell, seconded by Councilor Bailey to adopt the proposed 2017 Budgets (General Fund, Sanitary Fund, Airport Fund, & Storm Water Fund). Motion carried 7-0. PUBLIC COMMENTS (Related to the agenda – 5 minutes time limit) None ADJOURNMENT TO EXECUTIVE SESSION Motion by Councilor Bailey, seconded by Councilor Zuschlag to adjourn to executive session to discuss possible litigation matters at 7:09pm. Motion carried 7-0. Motion by Councilor Bailey, seconded by Councilor Hollowell to adjourn from executive session at 7:30pm. Motion carried 6-0 (Councilor Hamill was excused.)
