INFORMATIONAL:
A. The Thiel Homecoming Parade will be Saturday, October 14th starting at 1:45pm.
B. Fall leaf pick up had been scheduled for Friday, October 27th and Friday, December 1st.
C. Trick-or-Treat will be held on Saturday, October 28th from 4pm – 6pm following the parade at
2pm.
D. There will be a special session to discuss the draft of the proposed budget beginning at 7pm in
the Council Chambers on October 30th.
E. Ohl Street Bridge update.
F. Mercer County will hold a public hearing to accept comments on the Mercer County 2017
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application (including Pine Township,
Greenville, Sharpsville and Grove City Boroughs) on Thursday, October 5, 2017, 12:30 PM at
the Mercer County Courthouse Assembly Room, Mercer, PA.
G. Charter Communications upcoming changes notification letter is on file at the Borough office.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
A. Presentation from Borough Manager providing the quarterly update on financials of the
Borough.
B. Discuss motion to advertise for bids for the storm sewer video inspection phase II project.
C. Discuss motion to appoint _________ to the open seat on the Greenville Water Authority with
the term expiring on December 31, 2017.

D. Discuss motion to accept the resignation of Todd Heathcote from the Sanitary Authority
effective September 26, 2017.
E. Discuss motion to advertise for 2 vacant seats on the Sanitary Authority with terms that expire 6-

F. Discuss motion to adopt the revised job description for the Public Safety Director.
G. Discuss motion to add the job duties of the Public Safety Director to Borough Manager, Jasson
Urey.
H. Discussion motion to adopt the job description for a Captain in the Greenville Fire Department.
I. Discuss motion authorize the council president to sign the memorandum of understanding with
the Greenville Fire Department for the addition of the Captains position to the current collective
bargaining agreement.
J. Discussion motion to adopt the job description for a Lieutenant in the Greenville/West Salem
Police Department.
K. Discuss motion authorize the council president to sign the memorandum of understanding with
the Greenville/West Salem Police Department for the addition of the Lieutenants position to the
current collective bargaining agreement.
L. Discuss motion to select KU Resources, Inc. as the consulting firm for the Brown Fields
Assessment Grant.

M. Discuss motion to adopt ordinance 1572, revising the municipal fire pension plan to include a
onetime early retirement program.
NEW BUSINESS:
A. Discuss motion to adopt Resolution 2017-11 Citizen Participation.
B. Discuss motion to adopt Resolution 2017-12 2017 CDBG Program.
C. Discuss motion to appoint Cafardi, Ferguson, Wyrick, Weis, & Stotler as labor council for
the Borough of Greenville.
D. Discuss motion to renew contract with Reeves Information Technology, current contract
expires October 31, 2017.
E. Discuss recommendation from the Finance Committee to authorize the Solicitor to draft the
required documentation to create a Storm Water Authority.
