Urey, Borough Manager Solicitor, Douglas, Joseph & Olson INFORMATIONAL: A. The Greenville High School Homecoming Parade will be Thursday, October 11th starting at 6:00pm. B. Public meeting will be held during our October 8th meeting to take comments on the financial condition report submitted by the ACT 47 coordinator. C. Fall leaf pick up had been scheduled for Friday, October 26th and Friday, November 30th. D. Trick-or-Treat will be held on Saturday, October 27th from 4pm – 6pm following the parade at 2pm. E. The Heritage Days fundraiser “Heritage Hauntings” that is taking place in Riverside Park, has been moved from October 19 & 20 to October 26 & 27. F. There will be a special session of council on October 15th to discuss the draft of the proposed 2019 budget beginning at 7pm in the Council Chambers. G. PennDOT will be holding a public meeting to discuss the Ohl Street Bridge on Thursday, October 25 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at the Greenville High School, lecture hall. H. Charter Communications notice regarding pricing changes is on file in the Borough office. Presentation from Borough Manager providing the quarterly update on financials of the Borough. B. Update and discussion of recommendations from the Strategic Management Committee. C. Discuss motion to accept the retirement of Clifford Brant from the Greenville Public Works Department effective November 2, 2018. D. Discuss motion to advertise for an entry level full time position in the Public Works Department. E. Discuss motion to accept the retirement of Randy Patterson as Full Time Police Officer and authorize him to remain with the Greenville Police Department as a Part Time Police Officer effective December 6, 2018. F. Discuss motion to accept the retirement of Richard Craig from the Greenville Fire Department effective January 14, 2018. G. Discuss motion to advertise for the airport taxiway rehab project. H. Discuss motion to renew contract with Reeves Information Technology, current contract expires October 31, 2018. I. Discuss motion to authorize the Borough Manager to apply for the FEMA 2018 Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) for the replacement of a firefighting equipment, which has a 5% local match. J. Discuss motion to adopt the Cooperation Agreement between Mercer County and the Borough of Greenville for the FY 2018 CDBG Program Administration. K. Discuss motion to adopt Resolution 2018-19 to make application for the 2018 CDBG Program. L. Discuss motion to adopt Resolution 2018-20 Citizen Participation. M. Discuss motion to adopt Resolution 2018-21, recognition and appreciation of ______________ as citizen of the month. Page 2 of 3 N. Discuss motion to request the Civil Service Commission to update the eligibility list for promotion to a Lieutenant in the Greenville Fire Department. Q. Discuss motion of waiving all fees charged to the Water Authority in return for the Authority waiving the hydrant fee and the turn off/on fees for our facilities.
