other people. They will visit with 31 businesses throughout the village to let them know
how we appreciate their business in our village. Carol will attend May 17th meeting for
feedback.
Gayle Bovia and Erica Stevens from GIG discussed upcoming projects. Farmer’s Market,
Gun raffle, and Village Cleanup are just a few projects they discussed. Proceeds from gun
raffle will be used evidently help put up a Wall of Honor for Service Members which would
be placed at Memorial in Park. Erica suggested that the new age of technology is allowing
people to purchase items from Garage Sales on line and people need to find safe public
places to make transactions such as in front of police station or place of business such as
in front of Dollar Store. The more technology the less safe our world is.
Mike Etzler would like council to reopen Ordinance 2010-02 and see if certain changes
can be made dealing with bow and arrows. Further discussion is required by council.
Bovia referred to this as Pandora’s Box and would cause unwanted problems.
