Kniffin to be chip sealed, Partitions for restrooms at park, continuing problems with town. Police Chief’s Report: Opto traffic is down possibly due to Route 224 closed further east, Police Academy will be graduating on 5/5/17 and hopes that he can obtain two officers to put on force, Police activity is up. Mayor suggested that Chief look for several cruisers for his department. Zoning Inspector: One Building and two zoning permits written in last 2 weeks. Solicitor’s Report: Reported the incident that took place several weeks ago; with driver speeding 80-90 mph within the village.
