Reports to Council:
Administrator’s Report: Administrator had numerous projects that his crew is doing at
this point; Pavilion is in designing stages, Sealing streets, N. Kniffin to be chip sealed,
Partitions for restrooms at park, continuing problems with town.
Police Chief’s Report: Opto traffic is down possibly due to Route 224 closed further
east, Police Academy will be graduating on 5/5/17 and hopes that he can obtain two
officers to put on force, Police activity is up. Mayor suggested that Chief look for several
cruisers for his department.
Zoning Inspector: One Building and two zoning permits written in last 2 weeks.
Solicitor’s Report: Reported the incident that took place several weeks ago; with driver
speeding 80-90 mph within the village. Tenore had given a superior report during court as
did the retired officer from Perkins who was almost hit in the chase.

Mayor’s Report: Touched base on Easter egg hunt being a success and the fact that
Police officer Tenore was there getting acquainted with parents.

310, PAGE 172 TO THE NEW LONDON-GREENWICH RAIL TRIL, INC. TO BE USED
AND MAINTAINED A MULTI-USE RECREATIONAL RAIL TRAIL.
