Council met in regular session with additional members present: Police Chief Steve Dorsey, Zoning
Inspector Cles Inmon, and Clerk Betty Inmon.
Visitors: Bob Morrison, village resident along with several others from Huron County Project Leadership,
discussed them had chosen our village to be the next leadership project. They are looking at the old tennis
court to possibly turning it into a nice end to end basketball court. They will keep us updated through the
next several months.

Administrator’s Report: Giles discussed several topics with council: Street Dept. are at 50% capacity of
salt and will contact Huron Co if more is needed; we have had 4 water breaks since first of year, the bid for
Seminary Street will be going out.
Police Chief’s Report: Alice: Active Shooters Learning Session, a new class he can instruct in will be
given to village employees, 45% active shooter are in factories and 24 % active shooter are in schools.
Cameras are still not stopping speeders thru town.
Zoning Inspector: N/A
Solicitor’s Report: N/A
Mayor’s Report: Mayor impressed at the street crew that worked at least seven hours repairing a water
leak outside his home New Year’s Eve. This crew worked diligently repairing leak in freezing temperatures.
