Visitors: Sandy Risner and Terry Puckett, were upset over electric bills and PCA. Jera Riddle was upset over semi-trailers not stopping for school buses; Fearful for her children crossing 224. Mike Schwab was upset over the condition of American Flag at cemetery. Mr. Birchby would like to set up appointment with council, Mayor Sallee would like to meet after first of year. Administrator’s Report: Handed out bi-weekly report. Chief’s Report: Police Department has been dealing with some very complicated cases. Domestic Violence has been climbing for the last serval weeks, which is normal through holidays. Cles Inmon from GIG Group handed Chief Dorsey a check in the amount of $1438.98 for new computer. Thank you, GIG Zoning Inspector: Three Zoning permits totaling $150.00 were turned in. Solicitor’s Report: Went over Records training and policy with Records Commission. Mayor’s Report: Express his feeling for the work done by Officer Painter and Virgil’s Dept. for rapid response during accident that took place last week on East Main. Mayor also would like council to attend Veterans Memorial Dedication and Flag Disposition this coming Sunday November 11,2018.
