Council met in regular session with additional members present: Mayor Wesley Sallee,
Police Chief Steve Dorsey, and Zoning Inspector Cles Inmon.
Clerks Report: N/A
Lloyd moved to accept council minutes of the December 4th, 2018 meeting, T. Wilson
seconded. Vote as followed: Lloyd Yes, King Yes, Shoemaker Yes, R. Wilson Yes,
Phillips Yes, T. Wilson Yes.
Shoemaker moved to accept the invoices in amount of $63,820.51, T. Wilson

Visitor’s Addressing Council: Village resident, Larry Sanders was there to explain
reason for house trailer still on property. He explained that he has contracted 2
employees from Bo Lacy to take down trailer for scrap. The junk lying around trailer will
be picked up by January 31, 2019 and trailer should be down by no later than March 1,
2019. Chief was pertinent in having dates from Mr. Sanders so council has does not deal
longer than necessary for removal of all.

Administrator’s Report: Administrator Giles has been working on Monthly Power Cost,
replacement of phone network with new lines and phones costing approximately
$8,000.00
Chief’s Report: Chief Dorsey informed council that officers have been making more
traffic stops with warnings being issued. The new business located at 25 Main St. have
been issued Temporary Occupancy permit to add exit lights and do repairs. Chief Seidel
will be inspecting to see if meets codes.
Zoning Inspector: Inmon everything moving smooth at this time.
Solicitor’s Report: Currently not involved in any litigation for ending 2018. Will be
planning meeting for local tax revenue.
Mayor’s Report: Organizational meeting at 6:45 with regular meeting starting at 7:00
PM, Jan 2, 2019.
