Greenwood Council Meeting Wednesday, March 6, 2022 at 6:00pm Council Chambers The meeting was called to order by Mayor Schecklman. Roll call- Hansen, Ashbeck, Jordan, Nelson, all present. Also present Clerk/ Treasurer Kayla Schar, Curtiss Lindner (Clark County), and Dave Rasmussen (MSA). New Business: 1. Public Hearing was held for the Community Devolopment Block Grant (CDBG) citizen participation. Discussion was made on the project. Nelson motioned to close the public hearing. Hansen seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 2. Curtiss presented to the council the County will be updating the county park in Greenwood and discussed equipment possibilities for the area such as outdoor fitness equipment and playground. They are looking for ideas from community members on what they would like to see put in the area. 3. Nelson motioned to approve resolution 5-22 providing a guarantee of matching funds for the CDBG-PF Application. Street and Utility improvements on West Miller Street and Stafford Street. Ashbeck seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 4. Hansen motioned to approve resolution 6-22 to authorize the submission of a community development block grant (CDBG) application for street and utility improvements on West Miller Street and Stafford Street. Ashbeck seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 5. Hansen motioned to adjourn. Ashbeck seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. Kayla Schar Clerk/ Treasurer
