Greenwood Council Meeting Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 6:00pm Council Chambers The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hansen. Roll call- Nelson, Hinker, Bolf and Ashbeck all present. Also present Clerk/ Treasurer Kayla Schar, Utility Director Trent Johnson, Street Supervisor Dave Hinker and Attorney Bonnie Wachsmuth. New Business: 1. Discussion regarding funding for traffic control with Rebecca Greisen and Brittney Mews from Clark County Public Health Services. Rebecca presented the opportunity for grant funding with an emphasis on the implementation of traffic calming measures in areas where children are commonly present or play. City committees and employees will meet at a later date to discuss possible solutions. 2. Ashbeck motioned to approve the operator’s licenses for River Country Cooperative. Bolf seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 3. Nelson motioned to approve the purchase of a motor and gear drive static screen 1 for the Treatment Plant for $2,800. Hinker seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 4. Hinker motioned to approve the Summerfest Committee member list. Ashbeck seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 5. Ashbeck motioned to approve the sale of Lot 3 on the corner of Barnes St and Schofield Ave for $5,000. Nelson seconded the motion. All ayes motion carried. Nelson motioned to approve the sale of Lot 2 on the corner of Barnes St and Schofield Ave for $9,075. Ashbeck seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 6. Nelson motioned to approve the bills and vouchers as presented. Ashbeck seconded the motion. Roll call vote, all ayes. Motion carried. 7. Ashbeck motioned to approve the minutes as written.
