Greenwood Council Meeting Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 6:00pm Council Chambers The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hansen. Roll call- Nelson, Hinker, Bolf and Ashbeck all present. Also present Clerk/ Treasurer Kayla Schar, Utility Director Trent Johnson, Street Supervisor Dave Hinker, Chief of Police Bernie Bock and Attorney Bonnie Wachsmuth, Harold Dillenbeck- Clark County Bowmen’s Club representative. New Business: 1. Discussion regarding an agreement with the Black River Bowmen’s Club. The City will maintain a year-to- year lease with the Bowmen’s Club. Insurance must be kept current and a copy of the insurance must be provided to the Clerk each year. Nelson motioned to approve the agreement as written. Bolf seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 2. Discussion regarding leaf pickup on the streets with Whirlwind Sweeping. Bolf motioned to approve a 3-year contract for $270/ hour. Hinker seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 3. Bolf motioned to approve resolution 1-24 Tax Incremental District TID 2 Termination. Ashbeck seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 4. Hinker motioned to approve up to 30 hours/ week total for summer help. Nelson seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 5. Nelson motioned to approve the wage increase for summer help Richard Haase as recommended by the Personnel committee. Hinker seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 6. Discussion regarding painting crosswalks and parking lanes in 2024. Bolf motioned to not repaint the lines crosswalk and parking lanes for 2024. Hinker seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 7. Ashbeck motioned to approve resolution 2-24 Authorizing the Issuance and Sale of up to $274,532 Water System Revenue Bonds, Series 2024, and providing for Other Details and Covenants with Respect Thereto. Nelson seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 8. Bolf motioned to approve resolution 2-24 Authorizing the Issuance and Sale of up to $467,918 Sewer System Revenue Bonds, Series 2024, and providing for Other Details and Covenants with Respect Thereto. Hinker seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 9. Nelson motioned to approve vouchers as presented. Bolf seconded the motion. Roll call vote. All ayes. Motion carried. 10. Ashbeck motioned to approve the minutes as written. Bolf seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 11. Ashbeck motioned to adjourn. Nelson seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried.
